How Much Does a Scott’s Hot Rods IFS Weigh?? (Video)
The Aldan American C10 pickup truck competed in our first official event this week. The front suspension setup is a Scotts Hot Rods IFS (Independent Front Suspension). The Scott’s bolt-on IFS fits directly to stock Chevrolet C10 frames and is an all in one unit that allowed team Aldan to run Wilwood disc brakes, drop spindles, Aldan American coilover shocks and springs along with rack & pinion steering and an anti-roll bar. Removing the factory front end and replacing it with this Scott’s kit saved a ton of weight.
