THE PURCHASER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DETERMINING THE SUITABILITY OF ANY AND ALL PRODUCTS PURCHASED FROM ALDAN AMERICAN.

Purchaser understands and recognizes that shock absorbers manufactured and/or sold by Aldan American are subject to varied conditions due to the manner in which they are to be installed and used. Purchaser further recognizes and agrees that suitability of any part sold or manufactured by Aldan American for a particular application is the purchaser’s decision and that the purchaser is not relying on the skill or judgement of Aldan American regarding suitability of any product or service. Aldan American makes no warranties whatsoever, expressed or implied, oral or written to purchasers. There is no warranty of merchantability made to purchasers. Liability is limited to repair or replacement of defective parts to original purchaser. Aldan American is not liable for any consequential damages, expenses or injury arising from the use, misuse, or improper installation of any product manufactured or sold by Aldan American. Aldan American reserves the right to make changes in design or add to or improve their product without incurring any obligation to install the same on any products previously manufactured. This warranty shall not apply to any product which has been repaired or altered in any way so as in our judgement to affect its performances; nor which has been subject to misuse, abuse, negligence or any other occurrence beyond the control of Aldan American.

Ordering Information and Guarantee

ORDERING BY PHONE: Our order desk business hours are 8 am to 5 pm (PST), Monday through Friday, phone (310) 834-7478. If you have any questions–which shock to use for your particular installation or a technical problem–please feel free to ask.

COD ORDERS: We ship all orders via United Parcel Service. We accept American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discover credit cards. We do not accept personal checks, but we will accept business checks with prior approval of Aldan American management. Make checks, money orders, etc., payable to Aldan American.

SHIPPING COSTS: The purchaser pays any and all shipping costs.

SPECIAL ORDERS: We require 50% advance payment for custom products prior to actual manufacture. If the order is cancelled, such advance payment cannot be refunded. We do not accept special orders for return.

DISCONTINUED PRODUCT LINES: Items discontinued or product lines no longer manufactured by Aldan American will hold no previous warranty upon the date the item and/or product is discontinued.

FOREIGN ORDERS: Foreign orders are subject to special handling charges which are based on the type of product ordered, weight an destination. We will inform you in advance of what these charges will be.

RETURN MERCHANDISE: All sales are final. Merchandise may be returned only with the consent of Aldan management. Approved returns are subject to handling charge of not less than 20%. Ship goods approved for return freight prepaid. Products that have been used or altered in any way cannot be returned. No returns after 30 days.

GUARANTEE: We guarantee our products to be free from defects in material and workmanship as long as you own the car. We will repair or replace, at our option, any Aldan product found to be defective, subject to our inspection and approval. Proof of purchase necessary.

LOSS CLAIMS: You must make claims for damaged or lost merchandise to the freight carrier within 48 hours. Save the shipping container as visible proof. Make claims for shortage of merchandise to us within 5 days of receipt of order.
