I just upgraded my ’63 Chevy Nova from an older style coilover to the Aldan American Nova kit and it made such a difference. The kit makes the entire front suspension simpler and stronger while the ride quality is noticeably smoother and quieter. Definitely worth the upgrade.

For the 1997 model year, Ford unveiled the most extensive redesign of the F-Series in 17 years. A fully independent front suspension replaced the Twin I-Beam front axles. The change to independent front suspension allows 10th-gen F-150 owners to convert the standard springs and shocks to racing-style coilover shock absorbers.
One of the easiest and best suspension swaps is the Aldan American coilover kit. It’s genuinely bolt-on, requiring no welding or cutting. In addition, the adjustable spring retainers on the shock body allow you to lower ride height by up to 2.0-inches.
With our single- and double-adjustable shocks, you can custom-tune the F-150’s suspension for whatever surfaces you’re driving, from daily driving on the street to fully dedicated track builds.
