This part fits 1955-1957 Chevrolet Nomad vehicles.

The ultimate front suspension foundation with Pirate Jack tubular lower control arms—built for strength, street performance handling, and long-term serviceability. The lower arms carry major suspension loads, so reducing flex and improving bushing control has a huge impact on how the car feels. These robust tubular lowers deliver a clean, factory-like bolt-on fit while tightening steering response and improving chassis composure in corners and during quick transitions.

Each lower control arm is constructed from heavy-duty tubular steel and finished in a durable black powdercoat for lasting good looks and corrosion resistance. They come equipped with brand-new, greaseable ball joints engineered to match OEM specs, making service easy with readily available replacement parts when needed. Precision-engineered greaseable Delrin bushings provide smooth operation and long life while dramatically reducing flex and friction for sharper, more consistent steering response—without squeaks or bind common to worn factory components.

For factory spring applications, polyurethane spring pads are included to secure the coil springs, reduce noise, and improve overall road feel. These pads also lower ride height by approximately 1 inch (factory spring setups), giving your Tri-Five a more aggressive stance. The lower control arms also feature integrated sway bar mounting brackets, making it easy to bolt on a sway bar and take handling performance to the next level.

These lower control arms work with factory springs and shocks, lowering springs, or coilover conversions, making them a flexible foundation for a wide range of street and performance builds.

Coilover Installation Note (if applicable): Lower control arms use 5/16” welded nuts at the lower shock mount points. These welded nuts must be removed or reamed out to 3/8” for certain coilover hardware installations. Modified parts are non-returnable.
