This part fits 1965-1970 Chevrolet Bel Air vehicles.
Upgrade your front suspension with Pirate Jack tubular lower control arms—built for strength, improved handling, and dependable street performance. Lower control arms carry major suspension loads, so upgrading from worn factory components to a stronger tubular design can make a noticeable difference in steering feel, front-end stability, and overall chassis response.
These lower control arms feature heavy-duty tubular steel construction for added rigidity and durability, with a gloss black powdercoated finish for corrosion resistance and a clean performance appearance. The stronger tubular design helps reduce unwanted flex under braking, cornering, and quick transitions, giving your full-size GM a more stable, confident feel on the street.
Each lower control arm includes premium ball joints for durability and extended service life. Greasable Delrin bushings reduce deflection while maintaining smooth suspension articulation, helping the front end respond more consistently compared to worn factory rubber bushings. The lower arms also include integrated sway bar mounting locations for use with compatible sway bar setups, making it easier to improve roll control and take handling performance to the next level.
These lower control arms work with factory springs and shocks, lowering springs, or coilover conversions, giving you flexibility whether you’re restoring the suspension, lowering the car, or building a more capable street-performance package.
Important Installation Note: Lower control arms feature 5/16” welded nuts at the lower shock mount points. These welded nuts must be removed or reamed out to 3/8” for certain coilover hardware installations, including Aldan American coilover t-bar installation. Modified parts are non-returnable.
Note: Sway bar end links are sold separately and are not included.
