Front Sway Bars – Spohn RRx Series™ 1.375″ diameter lightweight tubular front sway bar is made from 3/16″ wall 4130N chrome moly tubing. This sway bar is precision CNC formed and a true one-piece, hollow sway bar design. Made in the U.S.A.

Spohn TIG welds the end seams to keep the elements out. End link tabs feature machined chamfers to fully seal the sway bar. Spohn RRx Series front sway bars are over 10 pounds lighter than a comparable diameter solid bar providing exceptional performance at a fraction of the weight.

RRx Series sway bars are put through an extensive manufacturing process to ensure that the final product will be the strongest, and most durable front sway bar on the market. These high-quality standards ensure greater consistency and a longer lifespan when upgrading to Spohn RRx Series front sway bars.

Spherical front sway bar end links included will connect to your front lower a-arm with a chrome plated self-lubricating Teflon® lined chrome moly spherical joint. These joints provide a bind-free connection for maximum handling performance. The amount of stress applied to the front sway bar end links is severe and you need an end link that is not going to flex and/or bind up to obtain the maximum handling performance you’re looking for.

Spohn RRx Series front sway bars are a true bolt-on design that can be installed with basic hand tools offering easy installation of this complete sway bar system. Spohn RRx Series Sway Bars available at Aldan American are built to the highest specs offered and include all options available along with the bar finish being offered in high-gloss, black powder coat.

The RRx Series™ front sway bar kit includes new polyurethane sway bar bushings with grease fittings and spherical end links, everything you need for an easy bolt in installation and the ultimate in suspension handling performance.

The factory method of attaching the rear sway bar to the rear lower control arms is inexpensive to manufacture but leaves performance gains on the table – Spohn RRx Series, rear, adjustable sway bars solve this and deliver better handling and overall suspension performance. The G-Body rear suspension trailing arms have tons of leverage which limits the effectiveness of the factory rear sway bar. This is why you sometimes see overkill rear sway bars for these cars. The other problem is that when the suspension articulates the bar causes it to bind up. The bigger the bar, the more it binds on rear setups.

Spohn Performance has solved this big bar issue. Spohn’s three-way adjustable rear sway bar uses spherical end links mounted to the upper frame crossmember with Teflon® lined spherical rod ends for bind-free articulation. Spohn takes it one step further by including heavy-duty 5/8″ spherical rod ends with a Teflon® self-lubricating races.

Spohn’s combination above for G-Body rear sway bars allows for much higher rates and performance with running a smaller (22mm) and lighter, rear sway bar. RRx Series rear sway bars allow easily adjustment of the sway bar for soft, medium, or firm settings. These rear sway bar adjustments can be made within minutes to tune oversteer or understeer, and you can use the firmest setting at the drag strip for flatter launches!
