Chevrolet introduced an all-new Impala in 1958, lower and wider than its Shoebox predecessors. Throughout its run from 1958 to 1970, Impala styling changed significantly, but three main attributes remained the same; frame-on-body construction, rear-wheel drive, and coil springs suspension all around.
Whether it’s a first, second, third or fourth generation Chevy Impala you’re updating, an Aldan American coilover suspension package is an excellent upgrade. Depending on the model year, you can choose from coilovers alone or a kit with rear shock absorbers that improve handling and response. The kits are 100% bolt-on with no cutting, drilling or welding required for an easy installation.
With Aldan American adjustable spring perches, you can lower the ride height of your 1958-1970 Impala by up to 2.0-inches. And with our single- and double-adjustable coilover shocks, you can tune the suspension to match your driving style.
