Aldan American Chevrolet Camaro Suspension Upgrades
While most Camaro fans know it debuted in 1967 on the new F-body platform, few realize that the F-body was developed from the Chevy II X-platform and served as a shortcut to get a Mustang competitor to market quickly. One of the rarest and most desirable first-gen Camaro models is the performance-oriented Z/28. These near racecars featured an F-41 suspension upgrade with more aggressive shocks, sway bars and coil springs. As effective as these components were in the 1960s, they can’t compare to a modern coilover suspension.
Aldan American Chevrolet Camaro coilover kits are suspension upgrades loaded with over 40 years American muscle car innovation and suspension performance knowledge. All our coilovers are made in the USA and use factory hardware designed to be used on all OEM mounting locations.
Aldan’s Road Comp Series, single adjustable Camaro coilovers deliver superior handling and ride quality for a drastic improvement over stock suspension. For even more adjustment, see our RCX Double Adjustable coilover kits. Our high tensile coil-springs are designed to fit directly into the factory’s upper spring pockets. Ride-height adjustment features allow you to lower the stance of your ride from stock, down to 2.0” lowered – making them a great choice for cruising, street, autocross or racing applications.
