While not its own model – the 1968-1972 Chevy Malibu was the top trim level of the Chevelle – there was plenty about the Malibu to distinguish itself as more than just an upgrade.
Suspension was by coil springs front and rear with independent front suspension and trailing link rear suspension. This allows for easy upgrades to improve handling and response.
