While not its own model – the 1968-1972 Chevy Malibu was the top trim level of the Chevelle – there was plenty about the Malibu to distinguish itself as more than just an upgrade.
Suspension was by coil springs front and rear with independent front suspension and trailing link rear suspension. This allows for easy upgrades to improve handling and response.

Each component of an Aldan American coilover suspension kit has been designed and developed with more than 40 years of experience in muscle car suspension. The kits are 100% bolt-on with no cutting, drilling or welding required for an easy installation.
Aldan American coilover conversion kits are made in the USA and designed to bolt onto OEM mounting locations. Kits are available separately or with tubular control arms that improve handling. The coilover conversion kit allows you to lower the front ride height of your 1968-1972 Malibu by up to 2.0-inches.
And with our double-adjustable coilover shocks, with 180 unique combinations of settings, you can custom-tune your Malibu’s suspension for wherever you drive — from street to strip to autocross.
